Registration: 7.00am to 7.30am (submission of crew lists & payment of regatta fees) at Registration Table.
Team Managers & Sweeps Briefing: 7.45am @ the lower level of the Finish Tower.
Races Commence: 8.15am (Marshalling commences at 8.00am)
Site Facilities: Stadium toilets, Food Stall, Raffles, Coffee Barista
Race Schedule: Will be available at registration table.
Race Distances & Categories: 2000 metres (20s) - Mixed
500 metres (20's) – Mixed, Open, Women, BCS
500 metres (10's) – Mixed, Open, Women, BCS & Juniors
Clubs entering in 20’s events, can only enter the 10’s events in the same category with different paddlers
Race Fees: $15 per Adult & $5 per Junior
Rules of Racing: ID Tags are required to be worn. (Temporary ID wristbands will be available for any unregistered paddlers)
Standard AusDBF Rules of Racing and at the discretion of the Event organisers.
Mixed Crews - Maximum of 10 men for standard and 5 for small boat (drummer/sweep any gender)
Junior Crews - Paddlers must be between the age of 8 and 18
Sweep any age or gender for open or mixed categories and drummers over 12
Minimum Numbers: Standard -16 paddlers plus a drummer and sweep:
Small – 8 paddlers plus a drummer and sweep
Safety: All paddlers MUST be able to swim 50 metres or wear a life vest.
Sweeps: Must be DBQ accredited Level 3 or higher or designated at provisional and are to be identified at the Team Managers/Sweeps briefing.
