Location: Emerald Lakes,  Lake Side Drive, Birmingham Rd,  Carrara

7.00-8.00am:  Registration Open

8.00am @ registration tent: Team Managers & Sweeps Briefing

8.30am:  Races Commence: 8.30am (First race to marshall at 8.15am)

Race Distances: & Categories 200m (20's & 10s) - Mixed, Open, Women

NB: Clubs can enter in both 20’s and 10’s races in a particular category, but not with the same paddlers.

Clubs cannot enter more than one 10’s boat in same category.

Fees: $15 per Adult paddler & $5 per Junior paddler.

Site Facilites: Porta-loos on site. Food Stall – offering various hot and cold foods, sports drinks, coffee van and raffles.

Rules of Racing:
Crew Gender: Mixed racing will be 50/50 rule, as used by AusDBF.  Standard AusDBF Rules of Racing and at the discretion of the Event organisers. NO ID TAG – NO RACING.  Tags can be obtained at registration tent for gold coin donation.  

Safety: All paddlers MUST be able to swim 50 metres or wear a life vest.

Junior Crews Paddlers must be between the age of 8 and 18. Drummer must be over 12. Sweep excluded. Under 12 years of age paddlers must wear a PFD, no exceptions.
